You can access a world of reading and discover online literacy resources that pair classic video storybooks with Weston Woods related nonfiction eBooks through BookFLIX using your library card right from your own computer @ home or at your local library. Adults, Teens, Children’s Story TimePreschool Story Hour will join up for SPL’s Summer Reading Program, “FIZZ, BOOM, READ!” It’s packed with fun reading challenges and events like:

The Erie Traveling Zoo on Saturday, July 12, @ noon

“Alpaca Felt Soap” on Saturday, July 19, @ noon

Please join us for The Puppet Lady closing program to celebrate Summer Reading. Food, prizes, and fun!!! Saturday, July 26th @ noon

The program runs from June to July.

Watch as our facebook page will show pictures of these Summer events and more.

Sign-ups begin June 2nd and you may sign up at any time during the program.

Everyone is welcome to attend programs! All programs are free of charge.

 Pre-registration is recommended as space is limited.

Beginning January 2nd, 2013 you will able to reserve books from your account in our catalog at http://catalog.ccfls.org. Once you log in with your library card number and password (the default password is your last name, you can change it after you log in) just click the Place Hold button from the item’s record. If the item is not a type that can be reserved there will be no Place Hold button.

If we have your email address and your messaging settings are set to send you an email when a hold is filled, you will get an email notification when the item you requested is waiting for you. You can change your messaging settings after you log into your account under the My Messaging tab.

If we have your email address on record you will find it on your account under My Personal Details. If you need to change the address stop by the circ desk the next time you’re in the library.

Ebooks are now available to CCFLS library patrons via Overdrive! As long as you have a valid CCFLS library card you’ll be able to check out ebooks to read on a variety of ebook readers, mobile devices, or your home computer.
