Universal Class

Library cardholders now have free access to over 500 online continuing education courses through Universal Class.  Choose from a variety of courses including: accounting, computer skills, interview skills, cooking, gardening, health and medicine, parenting, teaching, pet and animal care, yoga and a whole lot more! Learn on your own time and at your own pace with an option to earn continuing education credits!


Testing & Education Reference Center (TERC) offers test preparation & practice exams for high school, college entrance, professional certification and licensing, military, and civil service. Peterson’s ebooks are available as well as tools for Career Assessment, a Resume Builder and the Virtual Careers Library.

Book Club in the works!! We would like to start meeting in February to discuss favorite books and authors.  Club will meet on the second Tuesday of every month.  Please inquire at the library to sign up.

Pre-K Ages 2 – 5 storytime will be held on Saturdays at 10:00 a.m. Join Mrs. Ginger for a fun, interactive story hour designed for preschoolers. Story, Activity, Snack & Fun! Storytime will resume on January 7th.

We’re offering after school activities for tweens and teens on Wednesdays from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. Play the x-box or computer, enjoy a snack, or play board games and relax at the library.

Senior Cafe 70th Anniversary Celebration!

Adults of all ages are invited to attend our Senior Cafe to be held on Wednesdays from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Enjoy a scone and a cup of tea or coffee and chat with friends or catch up on the latest novel or news with the Community News, Erie Times, and Meadville Tribune.

Please join Springboro Pre-K storytime to be held on Saturdays, at 10:00 a.m. as Mrs. Ginger leads an exciting hour of fun, interactive stories and activities designed for preschoolers.

Beginning January 2nd, 2013 you will able to reserve books from your account in our catalog at http://catalog.ccfls.org. Once you log in with your library card number and password (the default password is your last name, you can change it after you log in) just click the Place Hold button from the item’s record. If the item is not a type that can be reserved there will be no Place Hold button.

If we have your email address and your messaging settings are set to send you an email when a hold is filled, you will get an email notification when the item you requested is waiting for you. You can change your messaging settings after you log into your account under the My Messaging tab.

If we have your email address on record you will find it on your account under My Personal Details. If you need to change the address stop by the circ desk the next time you’re in the library.

Ebooks are now available to CCFLS library patrons via Overdrive! As long as you have a valid CCFLS library card you’ll be able to check out ebooks to read on a variety of ebook readers, mobile devices, or your home computer.
